Housed in a compact pedal, the Geddy Lee Amalgamation offers an unusual amount of flexibility to achieve a variety of chorus effects. It is capable of recreating the kinds of chorus tones typically attainable only in a professional studio.
With its Detune control, you can adjust the pitch of the chorus voicing, adding sonic girth to create thick, lush, bass-compatible chorus.
Activating Deviate Mode alters the Detune function and adds an additional voicing for even more depth, as if three people are playing at the same time. Speed and Depth adjust the modulation from subtle movement to deep, wobbling chorus.
As with every Tech 21 product, the controls are designed to give you the flexibility to achieve your desired sounds rather than being limited to a single effect. The Geddy Lee Amalgamation Signature Chorus is built to inspire creativity and help you perform at your best.
Features
- Detune shifts the pitch of the chorus voicing up or down
- At 12 o'clock, Detune provides no pitch shifting
- Detune allows chorus without modulation when Speed and Depth are at minimum
- Speed controls the modulation rate from 0.2 Hz to 10 Hz
- Depth controls the intensity of the modulation
- Level adjusts the overall output level to prevent volume loss when engaged
Deviate Mode
- Provides a more pronounced chorus effect, ideal for solos
- Alters the Detune control to add greater depth, creating the effect of three instruments playing simultaneously
