Doug Wimbish DW Set
Doug Wimbish is a bass player known for his work with Living Colour and a wide range of studio sessions spanning rock, soul, and R and B. A consistent part of his sound has been the tone from the original EMG PJ sets used in his Spector basses. This signature set recreates that original tone from the 1980s.
Previously available only in his signature Spector bass, the Doug Wimbish PJ Set was developed using his original EMG PJ pickups from the early 80s. By referencing that setup, EMG recreated the classic tone that defined those instruments. The DW PJ Set also features the original EMG logo for a vintage inspired look.
