EarthQuaker Devices Plumes Jr MOSFET Mod Small Signal Shredder (Limited Edition)
The Plumes Jr MOSFET Mod is a limited-edition, mini-enclosure reimagining of EarthQuaker Devices' best-selling Plumes Small Signal Shredder, built for players who want the same tone-shredding drive in the most pedalboard-friendly footprint yet.
Modes 1 and 2 (labeled 'L' and 'N') are identical to the good old-fashioned Plumes that EarthQuaker Devices has been building for years. Mode 3 (labeled 'M') is where the MOSFET Mod comes in: a reimagined MOSFET clipping circuit that swaps out the stock silicon-diode clipping for a commanding, tight, focused overdrive that's rich in harmonics and delivers an overdriven bite in line with the sound of a modern high-gain tube amp.
The Plumes Jr MOSFET Mod features the same familiar tone controls as the original Plumes and is useful through its entire range. The low end is big and clear, and the high end is bright and cutting without killing the mids, giving that familiar mid-heavy drive players know from the original.
Each Plumes Jr MOSFET Mod is built one at a time in Akron, Ohio and is backed by EarthQuaker Devices' lifetime warranty. This is a strictly limited release, capped at 2,000 units worldwide.

Clipping Modes (3-Way Toggle)
- L - Symmetrical LED Clipping: Crunchy, compressed, focused and articulate. Identical to Mode 1 on the standard-production pedal.
- N - No Clipping: Wide-open OpAmp drive for a clean boost. Identical to Mode 2 on the standard-production pedal.
- M - MOSFET Mod Clipping: A reimagined MOSFET clipping circuit that swaps out the stock silicon-diode clipping for a sound that is harmonically rich and focused, with more low end, dynamically similar to a modern high-gain tube amp.
Controls
- Gain: Controls the amount of drive.
- Tone: More bass to the left, more midrange in the middle, more treble to the right.
- Level: Controls the output volume.
