EarthQuaker Devices Blumes Jr MOSFET Mod Low Signal Shredder (Limited Edition)
The Blumes Jr MOSFET Mod Low Signal Shredder is a limited-edition, mini-enclosure version of EarthQuaker Devices' Blumes Low Signal Shredder, which itself inherits the best traits of the Plumes Small Signal Shredder with double the gain and a deeper bass response to retain all the low end.
At lower gain settings you get all the crunchy tone of the original Blumes, and once the Gain control passes noon you're solidly into low-end, face-melting territory. Modes 1 and 2 (labeled 'L' and 'N') are identical to the good old-fashioned Blumes. Mode 3 (labeled 'M') is where the MOSFET Mod comes in, offering a commanding, tight, focused overdrive that's rich in harmonics and delivers an overdriven bite in line with the sound of a modern high-gain tube amp.
Each Blumes Jr MOSFET Mod is built one at a time in Akron, Ohio and is backed by EarthQuaker Devices' lifetime warranty. This is a strictly limited release, capped at 1,000 units worldwide.

Clipping Modes (3-Way Toggle)
- L - Symmetrical LED Clipping: Crunchy, compressed, focused and articulate. Identical to Mode 1 on the standard-production pedal.
- N - No Clipping: Wide-open OpAmp drive for a clean boost. Identical to Mode 2 on the standard-production pedal.
- M - MOSFET Mod Clipping: A reimagined MOSFET clipping circuit that swaps out the stock silicon-diode clipping for a sound that is harmonically rich and focused, with more low end, dynamically similar to a modern high-gain tube amp.
Controls
- Gain: Controls the amount of drive.
- Tone: More bass to the left, more midrange in the middle, more treble to the right.
- Level: Controls the output volume.
True Bypass Switching
- Good old-fashioned mechanical true bypass switching.
