James Hetfield "HET" JH Sandblasted Set
In celebration of the 50th anniversary of EMG Pickups, the JH Het Set is available with a custom sandblasted stainless steel cap. Available only in 2026, these pickups offer a unique look with the powerful tone that made them a modern classic.
Both the neck and bridge positions are based on pickups James used for 30 years, with updated construction. The JH-N features individual ceramic poles and bobbins with a larger core and increased height, delivering more attack, higher output, and fuller low end in the neck position. The JH-B uses a similar core design with steel pole pieces instead of bar magnets, producing a tight attack with lower inductance and a cleaner low end.
