Mojo Hand FX Little Wonder - Envelope Filter
Description:
Mojo Hand FX took the "funk" from their original Wonder Filter and scaled it down into a smaller, pedalboard-friendly enclosure with a simplified set of controls. The Little Wonder delivers classic envelope filter sounds, perfect for adding "quack" to any rig. It's highly responsive to your playing dynamics, with a fine-tuned envelope that's quick and easy to dial in, making it versatile enough to satisfy guitarists, bass players, and keyboardists alike.
Controls:
- BP/LP Switch: Toggles between Band Pass and Low Pass filter types.
- Low Pass: Slopes off the high end, allowing lower frequencies through.
- Band Pass: Filters both highs and lows, creating a vocal, "wah pedal" like effect.
- Blend: Adjusts the mix from fully dry to fully wet signal. This is particularly useful for bass players to retain the foundational low end while adding filter character, but guitarists can also experiment with it.
- Peak: Controls the resonance or boost at the filter's cutoff frequency. Turning this knob clockwise increases the sharpness and "quackiness" of the filter, while turning it counter-clockwise results in a smoother roll-off.
- Gain: Adjusts the input sensitivity of the envelope. This knob should be fine-tuned based on your instrument, playing dynamics, and desired envelope reactivity. It does not add distortion.
- Internal Trimpot: (Found on rev-2 only) Used to fine-tune the overall output level to match your rig and settings. Access by removing the backplate and using a small flathead screwdriver.
Additional Info/Power:
- True Bypass: Ensures your signal remains unaffected when the pedal is disengaged.
- Power Supply: Requires a standard center negative 9V DC power supply (not included).
- Current Draw: Approximately 70mA.
Dimensions:
- 12.2 cm L x 6.6 cm W x 4 cm H (approximately 4.8" L x 2.6" W x 1.6" H)
