Caffeine Boost
The Caffeine Boost serves multiple functions, from a volume leveler for long signal chains to a temporary boost for guitar solos. At higher settings, it can push your favorite drive pedal or amplifier into rich overdrive. It also responds beautifully when overdriven by another gain pedal, mimicking the natural breakup of a tube amplifier.
The new side switch toggles a set of clipping diodes, transforming the effect into a light overdrive pedal with selectable pre or post volume options via internal DIP switches. In the pre setting, it delivers a consistent overdriven tone. In the post setting, distortion increases as the volume is raised, emulating the organic breakup of a tube amp. This addition makes the Caffeine Boost a highly versatile, transparent overdrive with a dynamic response.
