The sound of the ‘60s is at your feet in the smallest package we could manage. The Southern California original that came to be a staple in garage and psych rock, the earliest known Fuzzrite was built in 1966 and ours is in collaboration with the estate of Semie Moseley, founder of Mosrite Guitars. All the buzz and hair of the original is 100 percent intact in our mini version, and now you don’t need to lose a ton of valuable pedalboard space to accommodate it.

Overview:

The sound of the ‘60s lives on in the Fuzzrite. Our mini version distills the exact circuit of the original in collaboration with the estate of Semie Moseley, founder of Mosrite. This classic American fuzz box imparts a character-rich ragged vintage fuzz that was the favorite of a large number of bands, but most recognizably featured on Iron Butterfly’s “In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida”. Never has the sound of an entire decade fit on your board so well.

Controls:

• Volume: Controls the output volume of the circuit. Higher settings will begin to overdrive your amplifier, which can add additional body and smoothness to the fuzzed-out sounds. Crank it up!
• Depth: The heart of the pedal. This knob is essentially a blend control that mixes in a second transistor gain stage with the first. At the minimum setting, you're hearing the first transistor on its own—cleanish and fat. As you begin to blend in the second transistor, at various points along the way, you will notice more voltage-starved, gated sounds; pseudo ring mod-style upper octave harmonics; and, at max settings, a thinner, more aggressive saturated sound with a ripping top-end attack and huge bloom to the notes.

Power Supply:

The Fuzzrite Mini can accept any good-quality 9V DC adapter for use with audio circuits that is filtered and regulated with a center-negative tipped plug.
