Description
Mojo Hand FX Stylus - LoFi Vinyl Modulator
Conceived by and developed with Detroit area keyboardist Galen Bundy (known for his jazz piano and organ work, as well as electronic music exploration and pedal demos), the Stylus adds vinyl and tape-style warmth, warble, and anomalies to any instrument through simple and intuitive controls. Whether your goal is to add a rich analog preamp character or something more seriously warped and degraded, the Stylus has you covered!
Hidden Feature:
If you use the Stylus on one side of a stereo signal, it will widen your stereo image while still remaining balanced. Try it with a stereo delay or reverb for a pleasantly surprising effect.
Controls:
- Hi-Fi/Lo-Fi Pushbutton: The middle pushbutton selects between Hi-Fi (up) and Lo-Fi (down). Lo-Fi alters the bandwidth and introduces crackles and pops.
- Degrade: Introduces random volume dropouts and scratchiness when turned clockwise.
- Warble: Adjusts the amount of pitch wobble, from subtle undulations to more extreme seasick oscillations.
- Saturate: Simulates an overloaded receiver. Increase to add grit and analog character, ranging from gentle breakup to robust signal shaping.
- Internal Trimpot: Controls the overall output volume. Adjust with a small flathead screwdriver.
Additional Info/Power:
- True Bypass: Ensures your signal remains unaffected when the pedal is disengaged.
- Power Supply: Standard center negative 9V DC supply (not included). No battery compartment.
- Current Draw: ~80mA
- Input Impedance: 340kΩ
- Output Impedance: <100Ω
- Manufactured in USA
