While retaining some of the original's iconic aspects, such as its portable size, mini keybed, genre selection dial, and vocoder with a dedicated mic, the new microKORG features a powerful sound engine, many more programs, a visually striking user interface, and much more.

The new microKORG features a gorgeous 2.8-inch full-color IPS LCD display that makes editing easy and intuitive, allowing users to visually shape their sounds. The enhanced vocal processor now includes harmonizer and hard-tuning functions, while the built-in loop recorder makes it a versatile production and performance tool for today's music world.

Unparalleled user experience

The new microKORG retains the iconic one-knob genre selection for intuitive sound browsing, alongside five dedicated edit knobs to manipulate parameters on the fly. Its new category system organizes sounds by era: Classical, Modern, and Future.

The control panel now includes a vibrant 2.8-inch color display with animated parameter guides, allowing users to see their sound modifications in real-time. The display can also transform into an oscilloscope, providing a visual representation of sound changes.

Whether you're a newcomer or veteran, the new interface bridges power and playability, offering advanced sound editing without sacrificing the signature microKORG workflow.

Newly designed vocal processor

The microKORG’s popular vocoder now includes hard-tune pitch correction and a harmonizer that enables pitch-shifting and layering of vocals. Effects like reverb, delay, and more can be applied to the vocal signal output for enhanced performances.

Paired with the dedicated gooseneck mic, the new vocal processor delivers the vocal effects you’ve dreamed of—whether in the studio or live.

Inspiring loop recorder

The built-in loop recorder allows users to create backing tracks by looping and overdubbing, making it ideal for live performances. With record, play/stop, and undo/redo buttons, loop recording is incredibly simple.

The recorder, combined with the easy-to-use arpeggiator, encourages layering of sounds to create unique performances.

Travel through time with new synth sounds

The microKORG’s genre-based Category and Bank selector offers quick access to diverse sounds from Classic, Modern, and Future categories. With 64 user-programmable slots, users can save their personal favorites.

As a virtual analog synth, the microKORG allows for flexible sound creation, unbound by physical circuitry limitations. The virtual patch functionality offers intuitive sound crafting via its graphical interface.

Updated iconic design

Retaining the original's design elements, such as the green silk printing and knob shapes, the new microKORG introduces a modern metallic color and a recessed control panel for an enhanced playing experience. The side panels feature a rugged, black stone-grained finish for durability.

Massively enhanced effects

The microKORG now includes three series of effects: modulation, delay, and reverb, each with independent control. The signal is processed through these effects and a two-band parametric EQ, allowing users to fine-tune their sound without external mixers or effects processors.

Mini keyboard with natural touch

The mini keybed has been redesigned for easier chord playability, offering a natural touch for fast phrases. The 37-key keybed includes an octave shift button, making it ideal for live performances.

Performance on the go

Weighing only 2.1 kg (4.6 lbs) and measuring 54.2 cm (21.3 in) wide, the microKORG is highly portable. It can be powered via an AC adaptor or six AA batteries, providing freedom to play anywhere.

Limited edition color variations

To celebrate its launch, the new microKORG comes in two limited edition color models: metallic black and metallic white. Each model includes specially designed aluminum parts and a matching soft case.
