The Dyna Comp Deluxe Compressor brings unprecedented control to the most iconic compression sound in the history of effects pedals. The original Dyna Comp Compressor has been a favorite for guitar players, known for its percussive tonality and ability to enhance tone. The Dyna Comp Deluxe Compressor’s updated circuitry and controls offer that same classic sound with more flexibility.
The pedal is built around the same CA3080 "metal can" integrated circuit used in the vintage script Dyna Comp Compressor, which provides quieter operation, greater transparency, and increased dynamic range. The Clean control allows you to blend your unaffected signal with the compressed signal to find the perfect balance. The Tone control provides further refinement of the compressed sound. The Attack switch lets you toggle between a vintage slow attack time and a modern fast attack time. The familiar Output and Sensitivity knobs control volume level and sustain length, respectively.
